Here’s what I have in store for 2013, at least the first few months or so. Planning for an entire year would be a tad bit difficult, considering I may have a job at some point and working would nearly obliterate some plans.
Anyway…here we go!
More original art :: I want to work on more original ideas rather than throwing a bunch of fan art in everyone’s faces. Yeah, I understand that’s why some of you follow me, for the fan art, but I want to keep both more balanced. This goes along with the resolution of becoming more productive/organized.
Collaborations :: I haven’t done one in ages and I want to do more. I might start one here on Tumblr within the week, so keep yer eyes peeled! :D
Panda Project :: I want to get it rolling along again and push towards some form of printed material (art book, calendar, etc). I haven’t sketched anything new and I’ve already got a handful of illustrations that I need to clean up and color. That is what the majority of today’s work will be.
Fusion Corps Studios :: The plans of launching the studio have been put on the back burner for far too long, it’s time to wake this beast and get it going! Decided that it’s best to keep the studio as a personal, two-manned studio…for now. We’ve been having slight issues regarding certain ideas with other artists’ works and such…more complicated than we thought.
Comics and/or Illustrated stories :: It’s bound to happen. This idea runs along with the Panda Project…
Commissions :: Eventually. I hope to push out more work that could be commission worthy but in the meantime, I’ll have to work on my time management and productivity. Curse you, internet distraction.
Traditional practice :: I’d love to work with markers and maybe get back into paints. Even though I prefer working digitally, I don’t mind getting my hands dirty once in awhile.
This is how I picture the future episode of Doctor Who when there’s dinosaurs on a spaceship. My inner child can’t help but influence that perspective.
If I don’t see dinosaurs piloting spaceships, my inner child will be very disappointed. :P

I decided to finish this up…during another late, late night.
It’s already after 4 AM here. Shame on me. :P
Another minotaur sketch has been colored. There will be lots of drawing at my mom’s this weekend. It’ll almost be like artist alley, just with no guests, no costumes and no convention business. :P
An octopus I decided to finish…..one dot at a time. :P
It was sketched, inked and colored in Paint Tool Sai and then later sent through Adobe Photoshop 7 for some image adjustments. :D
This was done for the Broken Heart Monthly Art Challenge over at #ArtForce, a deviantART group that offers weekly and monthly art jams. :D
The idea is to express a “broken heart”. I took it literally.
Here we have a young lady, chasing her broken heart and losing a little bit of her soul each time she she tries to catch it. A bit naive, she thought she’d be with her beloved forever. Sometimes, dreams come to an end unexpectedly.
I should really do a follow up picture to this; an “angel falling from the heavens” returning this girls’ repaired heart, kept together by Hello Kitty bandages.
